Highlights and Low lights - Highlights can give your hair a lift as well as adding extra depth with low lights focussing on the extra depth. It is often far more natural to have highlights and can provide a far more subtle change. Dip Dye and Ombre- Over the last couple of years a new dying trend has emerged in the form of Dip Dye hair or Ombre. This is where you have coloured hair dye applied to just the bottom of your hair usually from the chin downwards. Dip dye tends to be bright colours. Ombre is where you have lighter shade than your own applied to the bottom of your hair so it looks like its is fading out to a different colour.
