The Parlour Barbershop

I have been going to Jonnie for the last year and a half, she has done an excellent job. I appreciate her attention to details and extra work she puts in to my haircut and mustache. I highly recommend Jonnie as a stylist/ barber. Thanks for everything Jonnie!

I became a paraplegic a little over a year ago. One of my biggest worries was finding a place to get my hair cut. The parlor shop has been absolutely phenomenal when it comes to a place accessible and accommodating. Hannah Rocha has been cutting my hair and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is passionate, detailed and makes you feel welcome. We need more Hannah’s in the world!!

I have been to Parlour a few times and have had good experiences. Hannah Rocha does a great job with beard trims and is very friendly. Today, I had an appointment for 2:15pm. It has been a LONG work week, and I lost track of time. I realized at 2:35pm and called the shop to see if I could still get my beard trimmed today. The person on the phone spoke with Hannah, who said that she took a walk-in in my absence and could not accommodate. TOTALLY understandable, and I can accept fault for not being on time for a scheduled appointment. I was also told though that I would be charged for the service due to my "no show". With that said, this is not a no show. In addition, I could understand being charged for the service, except there was no lost revenue, given that my slot was filled by another customer. Terrible customer service. It is a $35 beard trim. I had started to schedule every couple of months now (so $210 a year- not going to make or break a company, but that's now lost revenue), as I really enjoyed Hannah and liked her work, but I will be finding a more reasonable/service-oriented shop for the future. While writing this review, I received a call from the shop with no voicemail left. I am unsure if this was to apologize (I would like to believe that was the intent of the call), but if so, leaving a message would be appropriate, given the circumstances. If you want to have inflated prices, so be it, but services (including customer service) should commensurate.
