I had the greatest hair experience of my life with Shelby!! She did a thorough consultation and just overall made me feel seen with what I was looking for with my hair! Definitely a luxurious experience at Sister B’s!! The salon is such a vibe and has such a cozy and friendly environment! All of the stylists and staff were extremely welcoming and seemed soooo friendly!! I highly recommend if you are looking for a professional salon environment!!

Im sorry to be making this review because I really did like my stylist she was very nice! But…this was the first time in 10 years since I decided to add some color to my hair. Also this was supposed to be a treat to myself since I just had a baby in December so it was like my first time really trying to feel good about myself! But I was actually very sad about my hair outcome at this salon. I came in the first time and wasn’t really happy with what I got. I left with the first three photos here you can see in the first two photos each side looks different and the third one felt like tiger stripes in my hair when you pulled it back. I did come in a second time to get it fixed and I left with the fourth photo…. I did leave the salon with more blonde on top than i anticipated.. I was just hoping for dimension. But i did leave the salon thinking I was okay with my hair thinking it was pretty! Once I got into my car, into more better lighting I saw my hair was a lot of different tones… some of my hair even came out brassy. And the stylist did know my hair came out brassy because she gave me purple shampoo to try to fix it at home….. I read some other reviews about them asking for a refund and I just didn’t want you guys to think I was getting a free color so I didn’t ask for a refund… but I did end up having to go to a different salon so they can fix my hair. The fifth photo is what the different salon gave me and you can see a big difference in what was going on. They had to do a lot of color correcting, blending and root melting to fix my hair. They worked with my hair as much as they could since I did get my hair colored back to back, we didn’t want to damage my hair even more. I didn’t come in for a third time because I have a 3 month old baby and he needs me to take care of him, as his dad took time off work so I can go get my hair done. I just don’t have time to sit in a salon chair for hours so that’s why I decided to just spend more money to go get it fixed at a different salon. I do want a refund but I see the reviews of asking for a refund and the client being told she was wanting free color and that’s not who I am I don’t want a free color I just wanted my hair right and pretty.. I was just overall sad because I never do anything with my hair. If you guys could make it right somehow that would be great!

I recently moved to Lakewood and I didn’t have a hairstylist that I trusted. I was first attracted to Sister Bs because they had great specials and deals but I keep coming back for SO many reason. Gwen is SO wonderful. She helped me figure out a new hair style that beautifully frames my face called the old money hair style. We also chose a new chocolate brown tone that makes my eyes pop! Everyone that works here is so friendly, they have great atmosphere and play good music, I love all the huge, real (not fake) plants everywhere. This is my salon now!
