Naima Hair & Beauty Salon

This is the second time someone from this salon has canceled the appointment last minute. This morning stylist named Rhea calls me 30 min before my appointment as I am on my way to tell me she doesn't have keys to salon and therefore can't do my hair . Meanwhile I confirmed with her the night before and told her I was heading on vacation in the evening. Horrible customer service and no appreciation for people's time!

During the Christmas period, I was fortunate enough to attend Naima’s Salon for the first time. My own salon in Woolwich - which I had attended for over a decade - had recently closed down due to not picking up enough business after the pandemic. I had spent weeks searching for a ladies only hair salon which provided excellent service and didn’t require a huge amount of travelling. I got in touch with Naima Salon and made a booking. I was surprised when I met the owner/boss herself - Naima - and I can honestly say the service I got was nothing short of outstanding. Naima was incredibly kind and understanding. She took the time to listen to my needs and requirements. I was so pleased with the service and result I got. My only regret is that I wished this salon was local to me so I could easily attend more frequently. Between work, childcare and family commitments, it can often be hard to find the time to travel and make a confirmed booking. I hope I can come back soon. Thank you Naima Salon. Hodo from Woolwich x

Went to have keratin treatment which I've done loads of times before at various salons. It's a long process but was made longer by the stop and start of blow drying several times as small amounts of the fume came off when blow drying, however I feel it was made worse by having a fan which only spread it all over the salon and kept setting off smoke alarm. Also my hair wasn't blow dried properly, it wasn't sectioned off and it was all over the place and not stretched enough with hairbrush as hair felt heavy after and not soft and bouncy as in previous times which I did mention to staff. She did rectify it a bit using the hairstrightners and blow drying after manger mentioned to do section by section again and the front looked better and hair felt lighter. At end of it I was just told we are done and not shown my hair using mirror at back of head like in other salons it was quite abrupt. When I got home and looked at hair especially the back it wasn't as straight as expected to be. I'm not sure if staff member wasn't experienced enough or was just in a rush to get it over and done with as at one point I was asked if I was tired, perhaps she was. To be honest it was like I'd blowed dried my hair myself at home not professionally. The staff were not rude and pleasant enough and offered beverage but at end of day I'm paying to get hair done and it wasn't good outcome.
