We had a brilliant experience at this salon. My toddler desperately needed a first hair cut so while we were visiting my in laws in Helensburgh we decided to go to Jill for a trim and tidy up. Jill was excellent with my son and he was so relaxed and still adks when are we going to see Granny and go get my hair cut. The hair style was perfect for a wee boy, very smart

***WARNING**RUINED MY HAIR***. money grabbing scissor-happy BULLY owner !!😡 I asked for a tidy up...but once I?d let down my guard, The owner ?tore right in? about my beautiful layered hair with *thinning scissors* .. i told [Jill] soon as I saw them, ?I DO NOT WANT YOU TO USE THINNING SCISSORS!!? She proceeded to grab my hair in clumps and destroyed it. repeated, ?Im not happy about you using thinning scissors?. Yet she continued to ruin my hair!! Then left my hair soaking wet, never offered to blowdry, never even washed it, just sprayed water gun to soak, but demanded paid for ?wash cut ? blow dry?.- which she bullied me into me into paying! My hair is now limp and a disaster. It will take at least 6 months to grow back and then have-a blunt cut to attempt to make it even. each day since owner destroyed my hair its been a nightmare, there?s tufts of hair everywhere- i could cry😢 **NEVER Again* JI?m coming back for a Refund + compensation you big Bully.

I have had more compliments on my hair since my last hair cut with Jill Roberts than ever in my lifetime. Thanks Jill.

Not that it would be difficult but this salon is superior to the others (many others) in this town. The stylists are down to earth , friendly and good at what they do . They listen to what you want and also give advice/opinions , they'd never do something that will look bad. I have been to all the big trendy salons in Helensburgh as well as had my hair done by one of the mobile stylists and have been left disappointed. I know a few people who use Jill Roberts and their hair looks great - hence why I chose them . Also I've had two girls there do my hair and both were as good as each other. I have also been to top glasgow salons - and they are still better than them ie Toni and Guy , Rainbow Room and Regis. Don''t waste your time or money anywhere else .- especially as they are so reasonably priced.
