Avoid This Tattoo Artist at All Costs - A Nightmare Experience I don’t even know where to begin with how bad my experience was with this tattoo artist. What should have been a meaningful and beautifully executed tattoo turned into a traumatic and distressing experience that has left me scarred both physically and emotionally. I feel violated and deeply regret ever trusting her with my skin. First of all, the design I wanted was never properly executed. I specifically asked for a detailed, personal design that was supposed to hold significant meaning for me. Instead, she kept showing me Pinterest photos and passing them off as her own designs, which had no relevance to what I asked for. I was forced to provide ideas myself because she couldn’t even come up with something original. When I paid the £20 deposit, I expected her to create something custom, but all I got were poorly thrown-together ideas from the internet. The result didn’t even resemble what I wanted, and the design was half-hearted and rushed. Beyond the poor design work, the execution was absolutely atrocious. I have darker skin, and this artist has clearly shown that she is not equipped to handle melanin-rich skin. The tattoos she gave me, particularly the moon and sun, have severe damage. The areas are so overworked that I now have dents and crater-like marks in my skin. It’s clear that she used excessive pressure, and I believe she intentionally dug into my skin too hard. This has left permanent scarring, which will stay with me for life. I feel like I was treated with complete disregard, as though my skin didn’t matter. When I asked her to refer to the image I gave her multiple times during the process, she ignored me. I felt completely disregarded and unheard. As a person of colour, this treatment was especially upsetting. I feel violated and tortured by the way she handled my skin, and it’s clear to me that she either doesn’t understand or care about the intricacies of working with darker skin. Not only did she fail to follow my design instructions, but she also failed to manage the tattoo process with any professionalism. During the session, I asked for a break, but she refused to take one. I ended up sitting through excessive pain and distress, and the entire experience left me emotionally drained. When I reached out for a refund and mentioned the damage caused, instead of accepting responsibility, she deflected, blamed me, and even accused me of harassment because I was understandably upset. She claimed the scarring wasn’t her fault and tried to gaslight me into believing I was the problem. Despite offering me a touch-up and partial refund as “solutions,” she couldn’t even offer a clear or fair resolution. I didn’t want to work with her anymore because I couldn’t trust her, especially after the way she handled this situation. She’s attempted to turn the blame around on me, but I’m the one who has been left with permanent damage and trauma. I’m now left with deep emotional and mental distress caused by her poor work and her handling of the situation. I feel completely betrayed, and no one should ever have to go through this. If you value your skin, your health, and your well-being, DO NOT trust this artist. She clearly doesn’t know how to handle dark skin, and she has ruined mine. The scars left behind are a constant reminder of how badly I was treated. In conclusion, I deeply regret ever stepping into her studio. If you are considering getting a tattoo, please do yourself a favor and find someone else who respects you and your skin. This artist has done irreparable damage to me, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Ella tattooed me a couple of weeks ago. Tattoos turned out exactly how I wanted them, and she took her time with them as well which I absolutely loved! The whole experience was lovely and she was just amazing! Will definitely visit again!

Just did my first tattoo with Ella and I had a lovely experience! Ella was very patient with me and after some time we managed to do this masterpiece of a tattoo, could not recommend honey bun tattoo enough, plus the space is just incredible.
