Elaine is knowledgeable , friendly, and excited about curly hair! When my hair first started to go curly I panicked! I looked on YouTube and subreddits to learn how to care for it. Then I booked an appointment with Elaine and she got me started on my curly hair journey, creating a long term plan for my hair as the straighter hair grows out so I can embrace and enjoy having curls

Elaine did such an amazing job. Super knowledgeable and really took her time to explain how to care for your hair at home as well. I would highly recommend for any curly girl. Her products are excellent and the space is lovely too with lots of refreshments :)

I am very happy with my experience at Curl Power. Elaine was very nice and competent. I am very happy with my haircut and styling. Elaine discussed with me (based on my routine) how to improve my care for my curls, she considered what I wanted to achieve with my hair and was explaining to me what she was using on my hair at every step of the process. I can honestly say that this was the best diffuser experience I have ever had (usually I diffuse my hair better than at a salon). Elaine took her time to diffuse my hair which led to beautiful curls and no frizz. Definitely would go again!

Elaine has genuinely worked wonders on my hair. I was back today for the second time, and have never been more pleased with how my curls came alive. The first time I went to Elaine, I hadn't had a curly cut and style that worked with my hair, which had put me off going to any hair stylist. But I found her through Instagram and thought I'd give it one last shot. From the get-go, Elaine was extremely understanding of my previous experiences. She took the time to learn what past stylists had done and explained why they didn't give me the results I had been looking for. She also took the time to explain to me step by step the entire process of how I should wash and style my hair, recommending affordable products and tools. She's so welcoming and friendly, and I left with the first curly cut that I loved. I went back the second time today, wanting to get a trim and some face-framing parts cut, and once again, I had an amazing experience. It was equally as informative, and Elaine was able to understand my vision and what I was looking for simply from a few inspo pictures I had, and some terrible descriptions from me. It was another super relaxing few hours, with great conversation, and the best haircut ever. I was genuinely speechless with how happy I was with the cut, extremely flattering, and exactly what I had in my mind. Can't wait to go back again in a few months when my curls need some TLC!

Great experience. Elaine is lovely and puts you at ease straight away! She listens to your concerns and is very generous with her time and knowledge. I recently had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic curly hairdresser, and I can't recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by her deep knowledge of curly hair and how to bring out its best. She took the time to understand my hair’s unique needs and gave me expert advice on how to restore and maintain my curls. I left feeling like my hair had never looked better. The space itself is incredibly relaxing, with beautiful views of the Thames River that add to the overall calming experience. It's the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the process. What truly made the visit special, though, was the hairdresser herself. She's such a lovely lady—easy to talk to and incredibly passionate about what she does. On my wedding day, she made me feel absolutely beautiful and truly pampered. She took extra care to style my curls in a way that felt natural yet special, and I felt confident and radiant walking down the aisle. For the first time ever, I left a salon feeling confident that I've found the one—my new go-to for all things curly hair! So glad to have found someone I can stick with long-term. Highly recommend!
