Black Tapestry Tattoo

Had a great couple of days at Black Tapestry Tattoo starting a left arm sleeve – all the line work has been completed and I can't wait to come back to do the background! Highly recommend Chris and his creative approach – he took my reference ideas, incorporated his style to create an awesome custom design and I'm thrilled with how it looks so far. Great studio with a relaxed feel, helped by not being on a high street and appreciated all the plants! The warming pad on the tattoo table was also a nice touch to help keep you comfortable.

I’ve worked with Chris for over 5 years. Both sleeves and finally finishing up my back we started two years ago. His studio (new to me) is the perfect manifestation of his total vibe - cool, chill, clean, thoughtful. I originally went to him because I had a few ideas but wanted to marry them with his dot and geometric work - which he did beautifully. His black work has evolved and with it, the work he’s done on me. He’s a true artist in the way he collaborates to bring ideas to life while holding on to the integrity of his own style.
