Bellanina Day Spa

I've been going to Bellanina monthly for a couple of years and I love it! Bridget is my go-to and she is fantastic, but you can't go wrong with any of the massage therapists. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a massage in the Ann Arbor area!

Three girlfriends gave me the gift of a spa day at Bellanina, and what a day I had! Everyone was warm, and welcoming, and the level of professionalism was impressive. I was relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of my treatments, wishing that I could stay another few hours. My friends chose the perfect gift for me and the Bellanina team treated me like royalty.

I want to preface review that I sent a message to the spa first before a public review, and received no response: I received a pedicure, along with a lash lift. The lash lift was wonderful, my aesthetician was great, no complaints at all, all praise. The pedicure ended in disaster which caused me months of pain, and a painful ingrown toenail extraction. When I sat down the first thing I said was, "I have already cut my toenails on my 2 big toes, please do not cut them, I am susceptible to ingrown toenails if my nails are short". She said, ok. Fast forward to few minutes later, when she proceeded to start cutting my nails. I said, "no please do not cut my big toe nails!" She said "ok, ok" in a rather irritated, condescending manor. A minute later she proceeded to do it anyway! I said, "no wait," and she said, "it's fine, I know what I am doing". Well sure as can be, ingrown toenail happened, as I knew it would. Several months of pain and eventually surgical removal of ingrown nail. My podiatrist showed me the removed ingrown nail and said, " yep I can see where this was cut incorrectly, that was your issue". So infuriating since I was clear not to do it. Not only did she cut it incorrectly, she continued to pull down and yank out the side of my nail. I would never recommend this spa for a pedicure. Never.
