Montana is located in the Western United States, the western third of the state contains numerous mountain ranges. The economy is primarily based on services, with ranching, wheat farming, oil and coal mining in the east, and lumber, tourism, and hard rock mining in the west. Millions of tourists visit Glacier National Park, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, there are three entrances to Yellowstone National Park and seven American Indian reservations located in Montana. Helena is the state capital, whilst Billings is the largest city in the state - the only city in Montana that has more than 100,000 residents.
